Frequently Asked Questions
Who is this retreat for?
Sanctum is designed for established founders, CEOs, creatives, and investors who are location independent, established or on a strong trajectory, and typically ages 30 to 45. It is for people who value depth over noise, autonomy over rigid structure, and environments with aligned energetics. This is not a party retreat or a personal development bootcamp. It is for those who want to live well, move their bodies, and connect organically with peers on a similar path.
What is included in the retreat?
Your stay includes accommodation at the private luxury villa, daily movement and meditation, access to coworking and shared spaces, and curated opportunities for group dinners, coastal walks, swims, and local exploration. The experience is intentionally light on formal programming and heavy on space, beauty, and presence.
What's not included?
Flights, airport transfers, most meals, and personal expenses are not included. Optional excursions such as boating or specific dining experiences may be organized organically and paid for individually. This retreat is designed to feel like real life, not an all inclusive package.
Do I need to know yoga or meditation?
Not at all. All movement and meditation practices are accessible and adaptable, whether you are new or experienced. The focus is on grounding, strength, and presence, not performance, flexibility, or prior knowledge.
Will I have free time?
Yes, a lot of it. Afternoons and many evenings are intentionally unstructured. You are free to work, rest, swim, explore, or spend time alone. This retreat prioritizes autonomy and spaciousness rather than full schedules.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Many guests arrive solo. The environment is designed to support easeful, organic connection without pressure to socialize or participate in everything. Coming alone often allows for deeper presence and flexibility.
What is the average age of the participants?
The average age of our participants typically falls between 30 and 45. However, this is simply an average of those who have signed up, and we warmly welcome guests of all ages who feel aligned with the experience and community.
Where in Spain is the retreat held?
The retreat takes place in Aiguafreda, near Begur on Spain’s Costa Brava, a preserved coastal area known for cliffside views, hidden coves, and medieval villages. The villa is within walking distance to beaches, coastal paths, viewpoints, and restaurants.
How many spots are available?
The group is intentionally small to preserve privacy, quality, and ease. Spots are limited to 8 people and offered on an application basis.
How much is the investment?
Investment for the retreat starts at $4,000, reflecting the quality of the villa, location, and experience. Final pricing details are shared after your application is reviewed to ensure alignment on both sides.
About Your Host
I’m Courtney, founder of Sanctum Village, and an entrepreneur who believes that how we live is just as important as what we build.
After building a successful, location-independent business, I found myself with the freedom I had worked toward, but craving something deeper. Not more strategy, not more hustle, but environments where ambition and wellbeing coexist, and where connection feels natural rather than forced.
I created Sanctum retreats as an extension of that philosophy. These experiences are not about instruction or performance, but about bringing the right people into the right setting. People who are established or on a strong trajectory, who value freedom, depth, and living well, and who understand that clarity often comes from space, movement, and presence rather than constant effort.
